Nurse Registration

Hi there,

I'm after getting my New Zealand Nurse Registration before applying for the VISA. Is this a good idea, how long does it take etc? Would I also need to complete the IELTS examination?

Any advce welcomed, Thank you

I applied for my registration and then applied for a job. This meant that when i had my interview i could tell them i was a registered.
You need the IELTS exam. 7 in each band.
I did the exam in April and got registration end of June.
