So I've got my nursing restoration through which is great....does this exempt me from having my qualification assessed by nzqa? The immigration website isn't exactly clear

Thanks for trying but no I guess I will get hold of immigration. My understanding is that as the NZNC have done most of the checking before they let me register then I don't have to be re-assessed. But I could of course be wrong

inkedneonurse, my understanding from going through the info on my EOI (not yet submitted) is the same as yours. It asked about professions requiring professional registration & the info attached includes the Nursing council.

When I got my residency (I was already here and on a work visa) I didn't have to get my nursing qualification assessed.
