Default next hurdle crossed, next finishing line

Hi All,

Police Certs finally arrived.

Gather all the paperwork and evidence together now, just a question.... about the fee to submit ITA, is it £705.00 ? read somewhere mentioned £750 that could have been a typo.

Heading for NZ Expo in Manchester next weekend.

Hi All,

managed to get final paperwork certified today by our Solicitor, thats another £5.00 added to the Total.

Not sure how much Evidence is needed but found a 2006 Council Tax Bill and Solicitors Letter from when we were buying house together, that should be a start.

Any recommendations on posting Paperwork down to NZ House? Special Delivery i'm guessing.

I would def use Special Delivery! may cost you a bit but worth knowing its all arrived safely! Don't forget to add a copy of all uncertified docs (evidence etc). The inventory I handed in listing all doc's & copies proved to be very useful so would recommend.... a pain to do but worth it!! Head every page with full name and type of visa applied for.
hope you get good news soon!

I really hope you are not waiting too long and get good news, fingers crossed for you guys, would not want anyone to have to go through what we are at the moment, its horrible, as you just do not know where you are or what you can or cannot do, we have people waiting for us to let them know if we are going so that things like removals can happen etc, never mind the upset that is extra pressure to our loved ones, that on one hand do not want any of us to be leavinig, however, on the other hand they do not want to see us upset and just waiting for each day to pass to see if I am shrinking, lol.

Good luck and will be thinking of you.

Hi All,

Just got back in from visiting the NZ Expo in Manchester. Well, if you did not go yourself, you did not miss a thing.

This time it combined NZ, Australia & Canada Emigration, with the emphasis on Medical Careers. ( Waste of Money for us, but hey ho. an afternoon out )

Had a chat with NZIS, seems we can wait between 7 and 9 months before finalising everything, this is due to having no Job Offer at present.

Suppose it all deppends on how far down the List we are when the go through the pile of applications.

Got some Bank info too and a Property Brochure, some bedtime reading material, well looking at the pictures at least.

We went to that yesterday morning, as you said, most of the emphasis was on medical careers. The morning seminars were helpful though, as they gave us some more information on shipping we hadn't thought of.
