Nelson any places to avoid

Hi to all again, as we are pretty much agreed on settling in Nelson NZ early next year, does anyone know of any places to avoid ect, schools for our 11 yr old daughter, also any good companys we can look at for our rented home for first year, any info how small appreciated cheers:thumbsup:
