Need to know about part time job experience

Hi all,
I've completed my graduation on engineering at 2007 and since then I'm working as a Telecommunication Engineer which means I've got 5 years of job experience. My query is..... before my graduation I worked in Telecommunication field for 1 year as a part time employee. Will it be counted? If so then I'll be able to apply for immigration with 15 bonus points. Thanks in advance........:)
