good day every one
my question about immigration under skilled migrant category
i have third marine engineer certificate and this certificate equal level 4 in mechanical engineer



i found my occupation (ship engineer ) in Long Term Skill Shortage List
but require 10 years experience and i have only 2 years experience !!
am i ineligible to award point ? i think i am not !! if i am not ineligible can i award point in any other question ?
i have found question in point test say ...
Do you have a recognised qualification? (level 3,4,5,6) ?
does my certificate = qualification ?

please help because immigration site is very complex and i can not understand a lot of things

The LTSSL may actually only be a frame of reference for scoring bonus points for skilled job offers in an absolute skills shortage. If you have a job offer which is classified as skilled as per the ANZSCO then you should theoretically qualify for 50 points, yoy would not however qualify for bonus points (so you should not claim for them) for your qualification or your job beng in that absolute shortage area until you have 10 years experience as indicated on the ltssl . check SM7.5 & SM7.10 at http://www.immigration.govt.nz/opsmanual/6954.htm
