Need further advice on silver fern visa, job search
 

Hi Friends,

I'm from Mumbai and this year finally after trying since last year for NZ visa. I got acceptance for NZ silver fern visa...:thumbsup: :)

I have a query, I'm engineer from India and have varied experience in manufacturing industry and recently I have shifted to software profession since 2 years.

Now, when I arrive in NZ, is it specified in silver fern visa which job we are permitted to work ?

my main concern is I can work in two field, but not sure if its possible...

hi sagar congratulations - did u get an error email later declining your application? you can work in any field as long as it matches the anzsco skill list

So, immigration is not concern which job i'm working in as far as i'm working in anzsco skill list like engineering or software or management....

anyways, i rechecked my mail and I haven't got any error message or declining

As far as I know they won't specify in this Visa as it is only a job search Visa. So it does not guarantee any work permit. When an employer is willing to give as a job and if it's a minimum one year duration then we can apply for silver fern practical exp visa. Correct me guys if I'm wrong!

the job must be specified on the anzsco list and should be for a period of 12 months or more

not yet! i tried calling them but somehow its impossible to get through - i have sent them a mail and hope to hear from them soon
