I can't seem to find the occupation to see if it is deemed skilled or not.

Help anyone please?

Had a look on Appendix 6 for skilled migrants, cant see it either, nor any other similar wording - so would personally say it wasnt classed as 'skilled'.

I looked for it on ANZSCO as that is supposed to make mention of all occupations, skilled or otherwise. Nothing .

I can't find it either, are there any other names the job might go under? I can't think of any myself.

Also is there much call for gamekeepers in NZ? Are the skills transferable to another job eg DOC? and could it come under that instead?

Gamekeeping is quite new to NZ Persephone but it is out there these days. This particular gamekeeper already has someone interested in employing him because he comes with the training/quals.

Thing is, you'd want to know it is seen as skilled so able to go for residency.

My resident application just had me listed under the "specialist manager" category. Perhaps it could just be lumped in to that as i got the impression from our immigration agent its pretty open too interpretation what that covers.

While my new role was similar to what I'd done previously it was in a totally different industry I knew nothing about. As long as you can prove you have the quals or work experience to meet the minimum immigration requirement, along with a suitable job offer, that may be enough!?

Or I'm talking cobblers and there's no hope down that route
