Yes, NZIS will want the originals.

Why would Australia House be involved if you are applying to become a New Zealand resident?

 :)

 Aus House? I don't get it.

Australia is Australia and their immigration policies differ from New Zealand's. Best you talk with the New Zealand people.

As far as the medicals you need the originals of these. Any notes from your doctor / specialist need to be originals too. You do not need to send the x-rays themselves if you needed these, just the report.

The police check should be the original too

As far as other forms for me it was just the rest of the application forms filled out as best as possible. With the other supporting documentation.

They should have sent you a list of what they require if your EOI was picked and you got an ITA.

Are you applying for Australia and New Zealand in tandem Wessa? I can see that you have been posting visa questions to both forums.

If you are at the stage where you should submit your medicals and police checks , then you will have the NZIS forms with contact details on them.

As Spoonguy states, NZIS should have sent you a comprehensive guide along with your Invitation to Apply. It tells you exactly what to send .

"Forms" don't accompany the XRays and Police certs etc. It's not really that way round. The system and process is quite precise.

1] Submit an Expression of Interest EOI - online is cheapest - takes 40mins to 2 hours

2] Wait and hope for a Selection from the NZIS EOI pool. Selections happen fortnightly. One is notified if selected.

3] Wait for an Invitation to Apply pack - ITA - from NZIS. Quite a large pack A4 size pack.

4] Collate all your documentation together. Have it certified. Get your medicals done if not already had them and send for your police checks , also if not already obtained.

5] Complete the form and submit ALL documentation which includes:-

birth certs - originals or certified copies from a notary/solicitor or JP

marriage certs - originals or certified copies from a notary/solicitor or JP

medicals - originals only

police checks -originals only

qualification proof - originals or certified copies from a notary/solicitor or JP

qualification assessment from NZQA - New Zealand Qualification Authority or, if applicable, the trade/profession regulatory body in NZ

work experience proof

If you are paying the migrant levy fee, send your passport.

6] Post this to NZIS and await the outcome.
