I have been eating porridge like you said it lowers cholesterol i have been told by a few people its good plus im on cholesterol manager tablets they are buy over the counter and supposed to be pretty good been doing this now for around 3 weeks plus ive lost bit of wait so fingers crossed its just the not knowing what is going on is doing my head to be honest you would of thought of having my results for just over a month they would lt me know either way what is going to happen.

Have you thought about getting cholesterol re-tested as it sounds as though you are doing all the right things to lower it.
..if you have got a lower result contact C/O and say you want to submit latest result....give them evidence that you are doing something about it!!B x

Yeah i have been thinking about that i think i will do it next monday gives me a few extra days hopefully its come down,it better have im sick of porridge already!!!

sure you will have a good result
can't remember how many weeks between my results but not too many.Luckily my porridge diet coencided with strawberry /rasberry season here so was able to enjoy porridge lunch!!
....not eating so often now tho!!

ive tried most things but now i just do it to get it out of the way!!!i cant see how they can make me wait so long,they had my application for 6mnths before i heared anything then give me 10 days to to get blood results more evidence of me and my partner all sent back to them in chch,bit crazy really

Seems that applications in NZ take longer than those lodged in UK .....like you say crazy!!
Took mine to London 1st Oct...had phone call 6th Oct, C/O thought he might need more evidence of relationship
sent 61 pages in!! C/O 'found' all evidence ...all OK!! ....point is only took 4 working days here so can't understand why 6mths in NZ....
Anyway this is irrelevant for you eh?.....good luck for blood test on Monday, hope it all works out for you.
