Hi, does anybody have experiance of if I am likely to have problems on the medical with a partially pro-lapsed disc in my back? Its been the same for the last 10+ years but i take prescription painkillers and anti inflamatories daily. I have looked through the NZIS website but can't find anything relating to it other than the am i likely to be a burden on society clause bit of the medical.

Your application will probably be sent to a medical assessor.

I have no experience of this and how long it will take for them to assess it.
Do a search on here-needing to be referred for medical reasons seems to be reasonably common
