Medical question

Hi, We are just starting out on the long road to planning a new life in New Zealand and have a quick medical question. My husband had a back operation last year and had two disks removed. He has made a full recovery but I was wondering if this would have a decremental effect on his medical? Any information would be welcome. Thanks. Steph
