I am a diabetic using an insulin pump, does anyone know of anyone or uses it themselves? I assume this wont be free issue as here in the uk but how much will I need to pay?

Hi, My son won't use the pump as he just doesn't like the idea of a semi permanent attachment. He did get offered one, which I think was funded. I will check it out for you. Otherwise he sees a specialist once every 3 months which is free and all items on his script are $5 each.
Will being diabetic affect your visa application, I don't know how the medical works as we are all NZ citizens so didn't have to go through that.
Anyway I will check out the pupm options today for you and get back.

I think that at the very least you will get your medical referred, there is a section on the medical paperwork which requires the panel doctor to fill out all details of diabetes.

This should be okay, but will probably add a few weeks to the time scale.
