Managed to confuse myself
 

I am a qualified nurse. I have NZ registration and am just waiting for my Annual Practising Cert. I had a job interview yesterday and am waiting for the result next week.
I am planning to apply for a work to residence visa. I understand that i need a medical and x ray cert which I have booked. My question is my husband who is retired is hoping to travel on a family visa & I will support this. Does anyone know if he needs a medical & x ray cert? We are planning to stay over a year.

Yes. He needs the police checks and medicals/xrays as well.

Thank you BEVS. I think you might have saved me an expensive phone call to London.
I would like to double check just because the medicals are £800.
I will be applying for a work to residence visa. Mike will be applying for partners supporting partnership based temp entry application. We are planning to put in the applications at the same time.
Could you tell me if this is the right route?
