Specific question here.
Has anyone had to write or ask someone to write a Letter of Support recently?
If so, how complex and detailed was it, and were there any issues with your response.
We understand why this is required (very easy for people to be living separate lives but sharing a postal address etc. or to have been separated for years but temporarily getting back together for the application).
However we are wondering how much detail is required, beyond:
"Hi, I'm Florence, a local school teacher. I have known A & B for nearly 10 years and they have always been together as a couple and attended the coffee morning together each week.".
I assume it is a box ticking exercise not the start of an in depth investigation by the Security Services.
Any pointers most welcome.
Shame I don't know Liz Truss!
