Just qualified

Hi, I have posted on here before and found it to be very helpful and again I am looking for advice.

I got the results for my social work degree today and I have passed. I don't get my certificate until graduation in December, however I will receive paperwork in the next few days that will state I have BA (hons) Social Work.

Now I was wondering if I were to put in an EOI now, that this paperwork would be sufficient evidence that I have my degree?

Also we are applying for residency and I note that there is a £2000 fee. If we meet the 140 points (which it looks like we hopefully will), does this fee get taken whether or not be actually get residency visas? Ive notices that they can offer a work to residency visa, which we can apply for and not pay nearly as much. Somehow doesn't seem fair so I wondered if anyone knew?

Thanks

all the fees you can find here:

You can put your EOI in now, you will have to pay and you won't get that back. if they feel that you have a good chance of getting the Visa they will send you an ITA. you have a 4mths to get all the paperwork back to them then they have 3mths (might of changed) to review all the paperwork and give you an answer. obviously if you miss out paperwork it will hold up the application whilst they ask and you supply.
