My application was lodged on 6th March and they took the application fee on the 9th. The letter telling me it's been accepted for consideration says "I hope to make a decision ... in the next one to three months" but the average processing time for the London branch actually looks to have been only a couple of weeks recently.

Which visa are you applying for? Do you have a job offer etc. etc.?

Hi I'm applying through the SMC, so PR. No job offer as yet, but just found out my CO is on annual leave until 30/3. I guess I'll have to wait hey! The computer is on permanently, running out of things too check or search now, how will I cope with the suspense??!

Hi,
Just to give you a rough idea, this is the current information from the NZ website: -
"Once the pre-populated application form is returned to the London branch it should be allocated to a visa officer within four months. As an example, for the week ending 6 March 2009 we are allocating files lodged up to and including 1 December 2008."
