ITA received Parent Category
We have just been pulled out of the pool, EOI received and stamped 18/2/15 and all received on or before the 18/2/15 were selected. I've seem to be able to only have our medicals done in Manchester or London, selected Manchester as only 1hr away but £305 each seems a but much - is this the going rate? With police checks and applications fees no wonder they tell you not to apply if you think you don't meet the requirements. Hopefully the £1500 to submit the ITA will be money well spent.

We paid £295 for a Limited Medical in London. The General was £325 so yes, your rate sounds fine!

and if you get approved you may also have to pay a migrant levy fee as well.

Thanks - booked the medical in Manchester for 25/9, sorting out police check paperwork this w/e. Wish someone would put an offer in on the house as it would be easier if it's sold but if not we will rent it out.

Hi Esme,
Would love to chat to you re your application as it seems we may be able to get some feedback from you which would maybe help us as we submitted our EOI in late May 2015 for Parent Category Tier 1 with my son (who married a kiwi nurse), We are in UK and are in our early sixties and although we have a daughter in UK too she would not be wanting to emigrate to NZ as we so desperately do.
So many things to think about but your journey to this stage (submitting your ITA) would be very interesting for me.
Any chance we could chat on this??
Thanks
Elaine
