ITA photocopy all docs?
 

Evening all it has been a couple of months since I last posted, we have travelled to NZ now living in Ashburton and just got the internet !!!! :rofl:

We have received our ITA and I am finishing the application.

One question?

I am proving a certified copy of our passports but everything else is originals. I am proving a copy for them of all of the important originals like birth cert etc. but do I have to copy EVERYTHING? For relationship evidence I have bills, bank statements, cards, holiday bookings etc etc pages of the stuff ? Do I need to double up the weight of my package and send a copy of all that stuff too??

I sent copies of everything except the relationship stuff, and that was accepted.

There was too much of it, and weird shapes and sizes (cards, wedding invitations etc.), would have been a nightmare!

Nothing was said and the residency was approved in October :)

we took ours in personally and the guy behind the desk photocopied most of the paperwork but not the photo's. all originals came back no problem

Some was certified copies. Some was originals. All came back to us safe and sound.
