ITA observations

Got the ITA the other day (EOI submitted & selected in early November) and it seems woefully lacking in instructions, just the checklist at the front it seems. I get the impression that I really just need to attach the requisite supporting documentation and send it back, with signatures.

However it makes two strange (to me) claims: that I failed to declare all of my family members, and that I failed to mention all of the countries I've spent more than 12 months in during the last 10 years. Both sections are filled in, completely and accurately. It seems odd that they claim to know about additional family members or time abroad that I don't. I'm tempted to add some patronizing language to the form when I send it back!

And the thing about not detaching the checklist... when they use a single staple to hold the 50 pages together, it's almost as though they *want* the first and last pages to come off.

Re: ITA observations

The ITA is really your EOI that has been printed out. Use the checklist. Don't use patronising language. Just suck it up, explain your circumstances and move on. It isn't worth the aggravation of getting into an argument with a bureaucrat.

Good luck.
