Smile If I submit my EOI today, when would I get my ITA

Hi all

I'm just trying to work out timescales.
We've applied for work visas and I head out on 07/07/12 (pending me getting my visa in time!!!) Family goes on 19/08/12
Our shipping goes on 5/7/12 along with all our docs that would be required for ITA.

If I submit my EOI this week for example and it was pulled in the next pool (I have 195 points) when would I be likely to get my ITA?

Reason being that all our paperwork would be in the container and not likely to arrive until beginning of September and I know that the ITA has to be submitted within 4 months.

Thanks in advance.

Depends, have known people to get an ITA within a month, others take longer, ours took 3 months - all depends on queries, medical queries, etc etc

Sorry cant be any more help - really is 'how long is a piece of string'?

ours took just over 3mths, and that was with my husband already being over in NZ working.
I would personally say don't put your documents on the container, what would happen if it got lost/sunk etc?

Exactamonte. The answer is to not put these types of documents into the container. Carry them with you

Not all containers are watertight, heard of the Rena shipwreck? Don't risk it with Residence type docs....
