If I enroll in Bachelor degree in NZ, will I get PR?

Hi,

I am thinking of enrolling in an undergraduate degree in New Zealand. Although that would cost 40,000-50,000nzd, I think it'd be worth it if I get PR.

Does studying a bachelor degree in Long term skill shortage list make a person get PR after graduation?

Please help... thx.

AFAIK it makes no difference, you still need to make the points required.

If you did a degree in a subject on the LTSS and THEN got a job, yes you would probably get PR. But the degree itself is probably not enough - although you would be young enough to have loads of points and would get your EOI selected. You would then have to take your chances, as you would have no work experience (without a job).
