IELTS for Work visa
 
Hi All,

Soon i will have a job offer from NZ and i am preparing things for visa. in site it wasn't clear if i need IELTS for work visa or not. do i still need to do IELTS general? i am working and living in UK for 2 years now and originally from Sri Lanka.

The will want proof of your English language ability...the easiest way is to do your IELTS (normal one). What's your trade?

Thanks inkedneonurse, It is for Solution Architect role (IT). I did IELTS back in 2014 but it is only valid for 2 years. not sure if it can help ?

They will want a more recent one
