I have a question related "LONG TERM SKILL SHORTAGE LIST"

Hi guys

I need to find out one information, my application in process.. The officer has question.

Before that please go through my education
Degree in Commerce --- NZQA level 6
Post Graduate Diploma in Computers. ---- NZQA level 7
Masters in ECommerce ---- NZQA level 9

I applied for my education under "LONG TERM SKILL SHORTAGE LIST". As per NZ terms
"Bachelor Degree (Level 7) qualification majoring in computer science, information science or information technology AND three years of relevant work experience". He is asking you have not done degree in computers how can you ask for such points. (Although I have enough experience)

NZQA level 7 is for graduation or graduate diploma. He is saying your 7 is considered as a graduate diploma not as degree. And masters can not be taken into account.

Please help me to justify myself here.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
krish

Hopefully someone will come along to help with this.

I'd say this is a tough nut to crack here.

I know from previous IT people who have posted that a degree is needed. I also know that one can't submit a qualification that is above the level required. Nor lower.

Are you able to hire an NZ based Immy consultant at all? Just asking.

Meanwhile, I'll have a think as to who may know more about this.

Thanks for the reply.

I am in the process of looking for such a person. But its a holiday time in NZ, so it was little difficult to do so.
