I have 115 EOI Points whether i can apply with this point ?
 
Hi Friends

Am santhosh, i am new to this blog, currently i am living in India, i do have 4 years of experience in Software testing.

I am planning to move to New zealand for job With PR , for that i have calculated my EOI points i got around 115 points and am not sure whether it will be selected from the pool, kindly guide me how to proceed further .

There are any chance to get a job offer without getting VISA.

whether it is possible to get a software testing job in New Zealand without visa ?

Please find my details below for your better understanding

Age: 28 (Single)
Degress: Master of science in computer technology (Anna University)
Total Work Experience: 4 Years
Country: India

with those points you would not be likely to be selected without a job offer. also I believe you would find it quite difficult to get a job offer from over sea's but it can be done in some careers I just feel that IT is not one of those.

You can check current year EOI pool selection, i cant find anyone with 115 (without job offer) has been selected. Here is the link for 2013 EOI pool selection. If you are married and you spouse has Level 7 or more education, then you can claim 20 point for her/him.

I submitted my EOI in May at 130 points (not IT though), still has not been selected, so as MrsFychan says, unlikely without an offer

Hi I heared for IT field there is more scope, but thanks for you reply will double check it. is there any option to get a offer without Visa ?

Hi harry , i am single is there any other option to add more points to my EOI? and also i need your advice is there any way i can atten an interview without VISA??

if your points are correct then the only way would be to get a job offer that meets the requirements (not just any offer will secure a visa).

You could come over and apply for interviews but it can be risky depending who is on the immigration desk at the airport when you arrive. It can be frowned upon coming on a visitors visa to look for work even though some do it. It could cause problems if you get a jobs worth
