Default How often do they amend the skills shortage lists

Just curious! I saw that the absolute skills & immediate skills shortage lists were amended on 26th November 2007. Just wondered how often they amend the lists and what the liklihood of some occupations being taken off the list are?

They seem to have amended the shortage lists twice since 2004 I think.

There isn't any set period for amending the lists.

The NZ Dept Of Labour monitors the skill shortages.

Their latest review of NZ skill shortages was reported in March 2008 based on figures from 2007

Here is a link to their findings.
