How long will it take her to be granted a residency visa?
 

Hi my mum just applied for a residency visa, I have Australian citizenship but I don't want to move without her as im still high school age. I was wondering how long on average something like her application will take to process. her job is on the long term skill shortages list, and she can get the bonus points for it as well.
im confused as some sources say it will take 12 months, while some say up to six.
I want to know if I should start getting excited yet,ha:)ha

Hi lillenore, you would need to check where you lodged the visa request for their time scales. If she has a job offer it does seem to move things on a bit.
