How long before "Application Received" appears online?
 

Hi,

I sent off my ITA on Monday and it was received the next day at Henderson Branch. Does anyone know how long does it take when the status "Application Received" appears when checking online?

check out my timeline below as a guide...bear in mind though, I had a job lined up already...your circumstances may differ to mine! :)

I suppose you could say, "how long is a piece of string"

If you're anything like me...no matter how long it takes, it would still not be quick enough! :o

It takes them approx 48hrs to process the application onto the systems and give a received date.

Hi how do you check progress on line? I didn't know of this option?

IIRC...

Create an account on the NZIS website.
Tick the "infortm me by email" box on your application and give an email address
Receive an email from NZIS which will link the two (application to web account)
Then your status will be shown in the NZIS web account...
