help me?!

Hiya,
Me and my family are trying to move to new Zealand. It is expensive obviously as we have to get our visas and tickets and the house over there etc so we are waiting until my partner gets a large amount of money next year. We will be moving to Wellington and just want to know what it's like there, the schools (we have 2 children, one of 7 and one of 14) I would also like to know what sports centres there are as my partner boxes and swims :) I would really appreciate any advice, thanks  x

what visa are you going to obtain to allow you to come? Student visa's for the children may not be required, depends on your visa's. but as a whole you fill in the form and pays your money

We're not exactly sure, we're waiting until closer to the time to look things out, it's a bit in the clouds at the moment

have you at least looked at your options to know if it is at all achievable?
are you going to be looking for work, buy a business, etc?
Do you skill sets fit the visa types if you do want to work?

It probably depends a bit on how much the 'large amount of money' is. If over $1.5m you could gain residence as an investor.

Welcome to BE!

Personally I think you should be looking at visas now. Not necessarily so you can apply now, but just so that you know whether it is feasible.
No point sorting out living arrangements and so on if it is not possible for you to get a visa at the end of it.
Have a look here : http://www.immigration.govt.nz/

At least you'll have an idea what visas are available and how you need to go about applying. You may need a job offer first, you may not, it all depends on your circumstances.
Are you or your partner a New Zealander?

Happy reading!
P:)
