Silly question can you take the paper clip out, so that I can insert relevant paper work?

We kept the application form together (EOI print off). We had a form which told you what order to put everything in, this needed to be near the top so no need to separate. We used coloured dividers and wrote on the front of each one what we had included in each section and wrapped elastic bands around the lot. It looks messy as you cant use folders but everything was there!!
