Have you used NZQA for non-degree qualifications?

Hi,

Reading through stuff on the immigration site I came across the line
'50 points for a qualification assessed as level five, six, seven, or eight on the Register'

Would it just be trade qualifications that occupy levels 5+ or are other qualifications such as a-levels also considered?

I'm wondering as I have completed two a-levels in languages each studied full time over two years. Is it worth getting these assessed by the NZQA or are they not worth considering?

Also hubby has NVQ levels 2 & 3 in vehicle body repair but wouldn't be pursuing a career in this direction if they were worth any points - is it worth getting this assessed either?

Kinda hoping that someone who has been through a similar channel with qualification levels will be able to give us some advice. Thanks in advance

The 'A' levels = No

The NVQ3 in vehicle body repairs = Yes as this is a trade qualification

Sorry for the bit of a short answer but it's the weekend:)
