Not quite sunk in yet.

Due to work commitments we're not going until next year.

Have confirmed timelines as: 6 months to have visas put in passport (30 Oct 08) >12 months to validate visa>enter NZ and given residence 'permit' and 2 year RRV>2 years later qualify for IRRV.

We are however going on a 5 week recce in Aug: Auckland>Taurunga/Bay of Plenty>Napier>Bay of Islands>Auckland. Planning on staying in properties like those on here: http://www.holidayhouses.co.nz
