Getting it all together - ITA
Medicals have arrived - signed across envolpe opening and sealed so no peeking :(
So now going through all the rest of the stuff, ready to slot the police checks in as soon as they arrive. Any tips with the work experience evidence needed? Currently I have: a letter form my prevoius employer that states my job title and start end dates (1999 - 2003) on letter headed paper. a job description dated 1999, not on headed paper. a collection of payslips for 2002 inland revenue DPA printout which (seems) to show I paid tax etc for those years! for my current job (2003 to now) I have a letter from hr stating my job title(s) and start date, on letter headed paper. copy of most recent signed contract (2005 to now) collection of payslips inland revenue p60's I have some certificates form external training courses done whilst I was there, worth sending? anything else?? I'm claiming points for 6 years+ experience and to be honest what I have above is about all I have chance of getting ! Todays plan, scanning all these documents into PC so I have at least a copy :p cheers |
Re: Getting it all together - ITA
Hi there,
Came across some tips on the immigration pages...god knows where now...that stressed some of the things that delay applications. One of them was to make sure that proof of experience (e.g. letters from employers) contains/shows the following: Job role Dates to-from Whether you were full-time or not...if not then average hours worked Actually, now I think about it I think these tips were included in with our ITA as well. Check the paperwork for an additional insert. Tan |

Re: Getting it all together - ITA
We are no where near this stage yet but having read your posting on proof of employment, doesnt the info you get from the data office at longbenton cover that. This info gives all emplyment, dates etc. If this isnt the case I had better start some letter writing or make some phone calls . Can someone confirm this for me please, gawdddddd more paperwork....... I'm getting writers cramp here......lol

Amazing what you learn on here :)
May well have solved a dilemma faced by a mate who's previous employers don't exist any more. Will duly pass this gem on. Thanks guys :D Tan |
Re: Getting it all together - ITA
yep they are pretty quick at returning the request also (about 2 weeks). Mine came back at about 48 pages  It is a gem of info as otherwise I would have been missing history for a company I worked for a short while who aren't in business any longer.
The link Tan0140 gave to nzis is pretty clear. Think I'm going to need a horse cart to get all this paperwork down to London :) Still tapping my toes waiting for the police checks to come back......... Though the cheques have been cashed in now so hopefully soon! |
Re: Getting it all together - ITA

At least we have contributed to the site and given some useful info.We are beginning to feel like we are on the bottom rung of a ladder slowly climbing up to New Zealand..... if you know what we mean.......
