Finally, good news (on the day we buy our house!)
 

We had so much trouble with the medicals when we were applying for a 2 year visa in August, that our lovely lawyers ended up asking to see the Medical Examiner's qualifications under the NZ Freedom of Information Act equivalent :rofl:


They then suggested we transfer our PR case to Christchurch, and today we heard that Neil's medical has been cleared as OK for PR. I feel the need to point out that this was after no extra information whatsoever, on top of the 2 year visa application and medical, which was initially refused.

It's all very strange to be honest, but we're very relieved and that's enough for us. Few more bits to do and we may have PR by Xmas :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Congratulations! So that's house, container and medical clearance for PR - good things come in 3s :thumbup: (and that's another 3 bottles of white you can sample by way of celebration :drinkwine:) :rofl:
