filling out the eoi form

Dear all,

Im currently filling out my expression of interest form. Im applying under the skilled migrant section.
Does anybody know of a website etc that shows a example form so i can compare to make sure ive not made any simple/stupid mistakes before is send it off?
Costs alot of money so id hate to know i lost the money through a stupid mistake.

Cheers

Glen

Hi Glen,
know what you mean about the EOI, but its not too bad, are you doing it online, i'd suggest so if i were you, its cheaper & it highlights you're mistakes. Theres an online guide on www.immigration.govt.nz for filling it in, as long as you're being hoest & know you've enough points, you'll be fine. Its worse than it looks (the EOI not the whole process).
We've just been accepted as permanent residents (our 1st attempt, but it took 10 months). My advice would to be, take your time with the EOI, make sure you don't lie on it (they are unbelievably thorough in their checks), be patient, & make sure you have all the documents you need & then some to get through what is a difficult (but not impossible) process. Oh & dont go & live in Auckland, its just like being in England (apart from the sea).
Good luck, any advice needed, email me.

Paul
