Expired Passport

Right

The wife has her new passport, we're just awaiting the old passport to return

However, as expected - Immigration New Zealand provide you with nothing but confusing information. Grrr!!!

What is the right fee you pay (for anyone that has done this) - is it $180 which is requesting a second or subsequent resident visa, or is $105 (transfer of a visa from passport or certificate) I took a look at the fees, went online and talk about the workers living in a land of confusion

If anyone else has been in this situation where their resident visa has expired and they required a new one, do kindly tell which fee/form you used

Many thanks :)

Re: Expired Passport

I was told if I needed it reprinted as I had lost my passport but thankfully found it. I'd need a transfer or visas not sure of cost.

Re: Expired Passport

If the travel conditions on the resident visa are still valid or you hold a PRV then you need to transfer the visa as it's just replacing like with like not a further visa application. Sorry, can't remember your time scale;)
http://www.immigration.govt.nz/NR/rd...vember2010.pdf

If they have expired and so you/she needs further travel conditions or a PRV then you use the form 'Application from a Resident or Former Resident Visa Holder' [INZ1175]
The Second and Subsequent resident visa is for those who have been outside NZ for a certain amount of time when their travel conditions expire - I think you're still in NZ?

Re: Expired Passport

It's $105 from what I can see

You're just having a transfer. Take a look down towards the end. You're nto getting a subsequent visa, just a transfer.

Hope I've helped
