Essential Skills Visa - December 2017 timeline?
 

Hi folks,

Just putting it out there to see if anyone else has submitted an online Essential Skills Visa application in December/late November?

I'm currently on a WHV, which expires on the 5th Jan. I know I'll be on an interim visa if nothing comes through by then, but usual story Christmas, money, yada yada it would be good to get an idea as to how quickly the queue is moving.

I've spoken to friends who have had theirs processed within days, but also seen some other posts on here and ENZ where is has taken up to three months :unsure:

My visa was submitted on the 7th Dec, and I had an email the next day to let me know that the documents were all okay and it had been sent to a Case Officer.
