Essential skills and Residency Visas

We applied for the Essential Skills visa on 28th May and the residency visa on the 3rd June 2015. Due to my daughters abnormal medical result, (This was from a chest X RAY and this has come back negative by our GP), this is currently being looked at by Immigration NZ Medical Assessors. Immigration NZ have advised this can take up to four weeks! We are all ready to leave, our property is on the market, shipping organised, rental arranged etc etc. After reading so many threads with people expressing their emotions :confused::lol::(............I could not understand this until now....boy it is frustrating for all of us (wife and three kids)!

Just waiting for that email to say we have visas then we can book flights!

Re: Essential skills and Residency Visas

I had the same with my xray, the man who took our application in mentioned I would be referred, first we had heard of it as the medical examiner did not mention it. I went straight to my own gp to get it checked out and she said it was scarring to do with pleurisy many years earlier. our medical referral took about 4 weeks due to Christmas shut down.
