Hi all.

Now I've got myself a touch confused here. I have an EOI that I am re submitting to pool after getting a job offer and will have 185 points. Now the confused bit, do I still need to apply for a work visa???

Stupid question I know but its really got me.

Short form, you cannot legally work without a valid work permit. If you plan on working before you are in possession of your resident permit you will need that work permit.
It's not a huge deal though. You should be able to apply for a temporary work permit seeing as how you will have that all-important job offer.

With that many points you should get picked out of the pool within days and then get an ITA within a month or so...if your point stack up with them.
