eoi selected! help please
 

hi,
my eoi got selected from the pool today which was a relief, and want a bit of advice from others in the know!!! Me and my partner are both here in nz on working holiday visas which expire in mid march. Not too sure how long all this process takes to achieve residency but am thinking it wont be completed before march. we have both got jobs to start in jan after a tour around south island, mine is on LTSSL (electrician). WAs wondering what we sort of visa we could apply for whilst waiting for the residency application to come through, so we dont have to leave the country in march?? Any other advice for us would also be great as a bit new to all this, cheers, gavin

Hi gavin, I'm sure immigration will extend your visa while you are waiting, now that you have been selected. But if you have jobs just let immigration know and things will speed up, just get your ITA in asap. good luck.:thumbup:
