EOI & PR Info Please
 

As we are already living in the new zealand and my OH has a job here (his work permit is for 18mths). We are wanting to apply for PR, at the moment we can't down to wage and doesn't have the right job title.

The company he is working for said he was on a 3mth probation (this is up 8th June) to see how he works before they promoted him which we knew anyway.

They had said that when applying for his EOI they will give him any job title so that we can apply for PR, I have been looking on the shortage list, does his position have to be on there to get picked and are the qualifications listed a necessity. How else can you get picked from the EOI bundle, he has a job, will hopefully be earning more once the probation time is up but obviously if they hand him any job title to help with the process he isn't going to have the qualifications on paper.

Sorry the question might sound daft to you all but I have a million and one things going on in my head, we have also just bought a house, so I am a bit stressed, and can't check with immigration about EOI and PR applications as our phone doesn't seem to be working at our rental.:mad: JOY!!!!

We all had our medicals in February for my hubby's work permit, we were told these were valid for 12mths, immigration also kept our police checks with our work permit forms etc in Christchurch, will these all stand when I have to send relevant paperwork for our PR. Sorry don't know how the whole process works. Going to stop babbling now and have a bottle of something strong to relax. :rofl:
