EOI - Degree from a polytechnic

Hi,

First post here, so hello everyone:-)

If I complete the points checker I get > 100 points if I include my degree.
It's a Bsc Hons in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Hatfield Polytechnic completed in 1982 (Now University of Hertfordshire).
My current career is in IT support.

Do you think they will allow the degree in my points total?
Reading older posts it looks like my current MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) won't count for a lot:-(

The degree itself should be recognised if it was awarded by the CNAA between 1964 and 1992:

Thanks JAJ - but to count, it needs to be relevant to my current career in IT support - is that right?

Ah, now had a chance to look at the URL. Hatfield Poly is mentioned as:-
"University of Hertfordshire (formerly Hatfield Polytechnic) (from 1992 onwards)". Does that mean they won't count degrees prior to 1992 when it was a Polytechnic?

Once again. Look for where it says Council for National Academic Awards. Isn't that the authority that awarded your degree?

As for whether it needs to be relevant or not - no idea. Maybe get a lawyer?
