EOI Accepted but my details now changed!!
 

Hi folks I hope someone can help me here. I recently received my EOI (Nov 3), however I have since changed jobs. I was working as a Secondary teacher which was listed as my main occupation in the last 12 months as stated on my application for EOI back in July. However, I started working as a Primary teacher in September so my main occupation has now changed. These details refer to section A on the EOI but I am fairly certain I wasn't awarded any points for listing my main occupation in this section. Still I wondered how this would affect my whole application.

In terms of my general work experience I am applying for points relating to 4 years as a Secondary teacher however, I have 5 1/2 years relevant work experience.

I was working on a temporary 12 mth contract and had no alternative but to change jobs due to a lack of work in my chosen field.

Will this change of main occupation require me to go back into the pool? Is there a positive way to manage this situation?

Contact NZI and tell them of your changes.
If you go forth with ITA you have to prove all the information you submitted as part of the EOI, so theres no hiding.

Thanks for the advice but I wont be hiding anything :), however I would prefer to know in advance as the application is costing 1000pounds.
