Default Employment Sickness Record

Has anyone for any reason been asked by NZ immigration to provide proof of their employment sickness record?

I'm just wondering if they may ask me because of my medical condition.

Also, do you think it would support a request for a medical waiver?

Just wondering these things as I sit and wait for my specialist to provide a medical report to pass on to immigration.

Don't really want to say what my medical condition is but it does to a degree limit what kind of physical work I can do, though I am not planning to work in NZ and this is indicated on my visa application.

Cheers
B

Default Re: Employment Sickness Record

I've been around these forums for 6 years + now and don't recall anyone ever writing that this has been requested of them.

I would think that NZIS will rely more on the professional reports as employer sick records may not truly reflect time from work due to poor health.
