Degree/Qualification Issue for PAR
 

Dear All,

I need your assistance regarding my degree, as I have 7 years working experience of Oracle DBA (from Bahrain & Pakistan) but my degree is not related to my job. I am doing job based on my two year computer science diploma & other oracle certifications.

Although I have done (Master of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, MBA – Management Information system 14 subject cleared with 3.0 CGPA but this degree is not completed.

I want to apply for : Database Administrator (262111)
And below is the requirement for this job code.

Bachelor Degree (Level 7)
qualification majoring in
computer science, information
science or information
technology AND three years of
relevant work experience


=>Spouse details: She have Bachelor of Science degree and its come under (Life Scientist (Regulatory Toxicologist) (234599) - No Working experience


Please advice, Am I eligible for PAR or Can I apply for Immigration

I think u can get the points of qualification but u cant get the bonus points for work experience and bonus point in absolute skill shortage experience . altogether, these bonus points are considerable , so ur total points may decrease under 100. In this case u cant apply. please check ur points with new condition in immigration website of NZ.
