Deadlines on when to submit/go etc

Eveving all. Apologies if these are really silly questions but I have looked all over the NZ Immigration website and cannot find the answers I'm after...
Q1. If my EOI is approved and I get invited to apply, how long have I got to submit all the forms etc before that invitation expires?
Q2. Lets assume I do submit it and we get offered residency, again, how long before that offer expires, assuming we didn't fly out straight away?
Q3. Finally, how common is it for skilled folk to go out on toursit visa and then apply for residency once there? Appreciate, there are risks of application being refused and having to leave NZ but curious as to how common this strategy is.
Many thanks

Good afternoon,
I'll try and answer:
Q1 - you have 4 months from being issued an ITA to it having to be returned to NZIS with all the supporting documents in place.
Q2 - if you are granted residency then you have a further 6m to pay the migrant levy and get the visa in your passport [the blue stickers] and then 12m from that date to enter NZ for the first time.
Q3 - Not sure! I didn't and probably would not risk it at this point in time depending on which profession you're in.

Hope this helps:)
