Couple of questions about the kids' visas

Hiya. Just form filling and scratching heads over something.

We have 2 kids going on visitor visas and 1 on student visa while OH is WTR and I'm partnership.

The application checklist says:

a. Evidence of your relationship with parent/legal guardian
and
b. If you are a dependent child of an essential skills visa holder, evidence that your parent meets the minimum income threshold
and
c. (for students) Evidence of your domestic student status

a. What evidence should we provide?

b. Worried: OH is the earner, my income will be 0. OH is not eldest's biological or legal dad, but an unmarried step parent. So will his only parent go down as being zero or will they accept OH as being his provider in this sense?

c. Is this something we need to provide for our 5yo and if so what?

I had a look at the ops manual but couldn't see any of this. If anyone could link me to some answers or something that would be great, thank you!

Re: Couple of questions about the kids' visas

eemmm tricky one possibly?

have you contacted NZ house and or asked the person who dealt with the visa what you need to provide? Don't think it would be a problem as you are going to need to provide evidence that they are dependent on you as parents
