CO was Assigned and need your advise

Dear All;

yesterday i had e-mail from my CO in shanghai branch with acknowlegment e-mail that they recieved my Application and fee and he mentioned that he will be my CO.
i had twoo question and hope to help me in it:

1- he montioned in the ACK letter that ):Note: You must provide the IELTS reports if any clients in your application have ever sit the IELTS exams. Failure to declare the information could be considered as misleading us),
is that mean he asking me for IELTS exam report, already i submitted letter from my university that my degree study was entirely in english for 5 years and the application only for me (no kids and no partner)

2-he asked me to call him??? is that mean he want to make interview with me or what?? is it normal that CO aking the applicant to call him.

thanks for all.

I think that if you do not come from an English speaking country, NZIS can still require you to do IELTS test when submitting your ITA, especially if they have doubts. It will probably be best to just email the case officer and ask him directly exactly what he needs from you and why.

I have read many posts that it is also quite normal to have a phone interview with the case officer for applicants that do not have a job offer. Not sure if they call you or you call them though. The good news is that such interviews are normally done just before getting confirmation that PR is granted! So maybe this could be exciting news for you.
