Changing visa (work to student)
Hi all,
I'm in NZ on a 2 year work visa (as a partner of a NZ citizen).
I've been here for 7 weeks and looking for work hasn't gone as well as I expected... so I'm considering a return to education instead (to study for a teaching qualification).
So my question is, has anyone changed a temporary work visa to a student visa? How easy or difficult was it? Are there any important points to the process which I would need to consider?
It's just a very tentative idea at the moment, so any thoughts or knowledge would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have no personal experience of doing this but I can't see why it should be a problem as long as you fulfill the requirements.
