can we go?
Hi everyone,
can you tell me if we have a job offer from a NZ employer but our occuaption is not on either of their lists (youth worker) can we still go?

It is possible, however........
The NZ employer offering you the job would need to prove to New Zealand immigration that there is no NZ resident or citizen that could fill that post.
They do this by proof of advertising for the post & by showing in-house training schemes etc. NZIS and the NZ Dept of Labour also apply a labour market test to further see if they feel this position could be filled from within the country.
